Advance your blacksmith skills as you create beautiful, functional ironwork in this 3-day intensive beginning to intermediate skill blacksmith class. On day one, you will learn and hone basic blacksmith skills through a project that incorporates a diverse set of elements. Day two and three, you will be able to choose to work on the project offerings that most appeal to you all the while receiving guidance and instruction from Gordon and building on the skills learned on day one.

Each student has their own forging station complete with all tools needed, safety glasses, and gloves. Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes.  All cotton clothing is best.

Classes begin at 8am and go to 5pm each day. Coffee, water, and donuts are provided. Most people choose to stay on site for lunch though there are a few restaurants nearby. There is a refrigerator available to store your lunch, energizing snacks and hydrating drinks. We also have a microwave available for your use.
